DU Masters Result 2026 - Dhaka University Masters Admission and Result
DU Masters results - both admission and academic - are published department by department at du.ac.bd, not through one central Masters portal. DU's own Masters programmes are distinct from National University's affiliated-college Masters programmes, which are a separate system entirely.
Quick facts
- DU's own Masters programmes are administratively and structurally separate from National University's affiliated-college Masters programmes - the two systems do not share a result portal.
Dhaka University runs its own Masters programmes, separate from the much larger National University Masters system that most Bangladeshi college graduates go through - it's worth confirming which one applies to you before you go looking for a result.
Direct answer
DU Masters results - both admission and academic - are published department by department at du.ac.bd, not through one central Masters portal. DU's own Masters programmes are distinct from National University's affiliated-college Masters programmes, which are a separate system entirely - see National University Masters Admission if that's the one you're looking for.
DU Masters - two types of results
- Admission result - whether you were selected for a Masters programme at DU.
- Academic result - your end-of-year or final exam result during the Masters programme itself.
Both are handled by the individual department, not a central Masters office.
DU Masters admission
Dhaka University Masters admissions run department by department - there is no single centralized Masters admission portal comparable to admission.eis.du.ac.bd for undergraduate units.
General process:
- Check your target department's own website for its Masters admission circular and eligibility criteria.
- Apply directly through the process the department specifies (often a physical or department-specific online form, not the central undergraduate portal).
- Check the department's own notice board and website for the admission result.
DU Masters academic result
Once admitted, your semester/annual Masters results are published the same way undergraduate department results are: via the Office of the Controller of Examinations at du.ac.bd, and separately on your department's own notice board and website.
DU Masters vs. National University Masters
These are not the same system:
- DU Masters - run directly by Dhaka University's own departments, for DU's own graduates and any direct admits the department accepts.
- NU Masters - run through National University for students graduating from NU-affiliated colleges, a much larger and separate administrative system with its own portal.
If your Honours degree was from an NU-affiliated college (not DU itself), your Masters programme and result are almost certainly under the NU system - see National University Masters Result instead.
