How to check HSC Result by board - online
All boards use the same central portal. The process is identical regardless of which board you are under.
Method 1 - educationboardresults.gov.bd
- Go to educationboardresults.gov.bd/v2/home.
- Name of Board - select your board from the dropdown.
- Name of Examination - HSC / Alim / Equivalent.
- Year of Examination - 2026.
- Enter your Roll Number.
- Enter your Registration Number.
- Solve the CAPTCHA (simple math question).
- Click Submit.
Method 2 - eboardresults.com (official mirror)
Identical form and database, hosted by Nixtec Systems under board authority. Use this if the primary site is slow or overloaded on result day.
Board-specific portals
Some boards also maintain their own result pages within the central system. The Dhaka board portal (result.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd) and Mymensingh board portal (mymensingheducationboard.gov.bd/resultmbh25) are confirmed live. Check your own board's official website for a direct result link - these can be faster on high-traffic days since they serve a smaller subset of students.
Portal addresses for the remaining boards change between cycles and are not linked directly on this page until verified against each board's current official site - check your board's website directly, or use the two central portals above, which always carry every board's results.

About Bangladesh's 11 HSC education boards
9 general education boards

- Dhaka Board - covers Dhaka division and is the largest board by enrolment. Administered by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.
- Rajshahi Board - covers Rajshahi division.
- Chittagong Board - covers Chittagong division. Official government forms and this site use the spelling "Chittagong," not "Chattogram."
- Jessore Board - covers Khulna division. Official spelling: "Jessore," not "Jashore."
- Comilla Board - covers parts of Chittagong and Dhaka divisions.
- Sylhet Board - covers Sylhet division.
- Barishal Board - covers Barishal division.
- Dinajpur Board - covers Rangpur division.
- Mymensingh Board - covers Mymensingh division.
Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board
Administers the Alim examination - the HSC-equivalent for madrasah students. Results are published simultaneously with general HSC results through the same central portal, under the "Alim" examination type.
Bangladesh Technical Education Board
Administers HSC (Vocational) and HSC (Business Management) examinations - HSC-equivalent qualifications for technical and vocational students, published through the central portal under the relevant examination type.
Which board are you under?
Your board is determined by the location of the institution where you sat your exams - not your home district. Your roll number and registration number are both issued by your board; the board name appears on your admit card.
If you're unsure which board you're under, check your:
- Admit card - board name printed at the top.
- Registration card - issued when you registered for HSC.
- Institution - your school or college's administrative office can confirm.
Board result vs. individual result - what's the difference?
| Individual result | Institution (board) result sheet | |
|---|---|---|
| What it shows | Your personal GPA and grades | All students from one institution |
| Who uses it | Individual students | Principals, teachers, administrators |
| How to access | Roll + registration on central portal, or SMS | EIIN number on central portal → Result Corner |
| Available at | educationboardresults.gov.bd, eboardresults.com, SMS 16222 | educationboardresults.gov.bd (Result Corner) |
→ How to check by EIIN (institution-wise result)
Frequently asked questions
Do all boards publish HSC result on the same day? Yes. All 11 boards publish simultaneously through the central portal - there is no board that publishes ahead of the others.
Is the Madrasah (Alim) result published with HSC result? Yes. Alim results are published simultaneously with general HSC results on the same portal. Select "Alim" rather than "HSC" as the examination type.
Is the Technical Board HSC Vocational result published at the same time? Yes. HSC (Vocational) results are also published simultaneously through the central system. Select the correct examination type - "HSC (Vocational)" or "HSC (Business Management)" - on the portal.
Why does my board's website show a different result than the central portal? It shouldn't - all boards draw from the same central database. If you see a discrepancy, the central portal (educationboardresults.gov.bd) is the authoritative source. Contact your board's office if a genuine inconsistency persists.
Can I check another board's result by mistake? Yes - selecting the wrong board in the form can return a "result not found" error. Always double-check that you've selected your correct board before submitting.
What is the correct spelling - Chittagong or Chattogram? Jessore or Jashore? Barishal or Barisal? For official government forms, result portals, and SMS codes, use Chittagong, Jessore, and Barishal. These are the spellings used on educationboardresults.gov.bd. Other romanisations aren't consistently supported in the result system and may cause errors in forms or SMS.
Which board has the highest HSC pass rate? Pass rates vary by cycle and are published after each result. No 2026 pass rate data is available yet.
