Has HSC Result 2026 Been Published? - Live Status

Afrina MonjurUpdated September 15, 2026

No - as of 7 September 2026, the main HSC Result 2026 has not been published. Most boards finished written exams on 8 August 2026, but the Chattogram board's exams were disrupted by flooding and its rescheduled papers run until 9 September 2026. No education board or the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced a publication date yet. A date of 10 November 2026 is circulating on unofficial aggregator sites, but it is not attributed to any board or IEBCC source and should not be treated as confirmed. There are also two separate result events each cycle - the main result and, for students who apply for rescrutiny, a re-evaluation result roughly a month later - and neither has a confirmed 2026 date.

Quick facts

  • The Dhaka Education Board's HSC 2026 routine, published 22 April 2026, scheduled written exams from 2 July to 8 August 2026 (Prothom Alo).
  • The Chattogram education board suspended its remaining HSC 2026 exams due to flooding; its postponed papers run under a revised routine until 9 September 2026 (Prothom Alo, The Daily Star).
  • HSC Result 2025 (main result) was published 16 October 2025 around 10:00 am (The Daily Star, 13 October 2025).
  • The HSC 2025 rescrutiny (re-evaluation) result was published 16 November 2025 at 10:00 am, per a press release from Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee (The Daily Star).
  • HSC results have been published in different months across different cycles - mid-October in 2024 and 2025, but 31 December in the 2020 cycle - showing prior-year timing doesn't reliably forecast the next cycle.
  • No HSC Result 2026 publication date had been sourced from any official outlet as of 7 September 2026; a 10 November 2026 date circulating on unofficial aggregator sites is unconfirmed and not attributed to any board or IEBCC source.

Checking whether HSC Result 2026 is out right now? Here's the live status, plus an important distinction most guides skip: the main result and the separate rescrutiny (re-evaluation) result are two different publication events with two different dates.

Two results to watch - main result vs. rescrutiny result

There are two separate publication events every HSC cycle. If you're checking this page after applying for a board challenge, you need a different answer than someone checking on main result day.

Event What it is 2025 reference date 2026 status
Main HSC Result Results for all students under all 11 boards 16 October 2025, ~10:00 am Not yet published (10 Nov 2026 unconfirmed)
Rescrutiny / re-evaluation result Results for students who applied for a board challenge after the main result 16 November 2025, ~10:00 am Not yet applicable

The rescrutiny result followed roughly a month after the main result in the 2025 cycle: rescrutiny applications were accepted 17–23 October at rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd, and re-evaluated results published 16 November - The Daily Star.

If you've already received your main result and applied for rescrutiny, your re-evaluation result publishes separately - watch this page and the rescrutiny portal.

Historical publication dates (pattern context only)

Publication timing varies more than most people expect - a Quora answer circulating a "December" date reflects the 2020 cycle, not a current pattern.

Cycle Main result published Rescrutiny result
HSC 2025 16 October 2025, ~10:00 am 16 November 2025, ~10:00 am
HSC 2024 15 October 2024, ~11:00 am Not confirmed in current research
HSC 2020 31 December 2020 -

Sources: The Daily Star (2025 main result), The Daily Star (2025 rescrutiny), The Daily Star (2024). The gap between the 2020 and 2024/2025 dates - over two months - is why prior-year patterns aren't a reliable forecast.

For 2026: most boards finished exams by 8 August, but Chattogram's disrupted schedule ran into September - so this cycle doesn't map cleanly onto the 2024/2025 pattern either. No official date has been confirmed.

How to check the rescrutiny result 2026 (board challenge result)

If you apply for rescrutiny after the main result, your re-evaluation result publishes separately - roughly a month after the main result, based on the 2025 cycle.

Portal: rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd

Steps (based on the 2025 process - confirm on the portal once 2026 rescrutiny opens):

  1. Go to rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd
  2. Enter your board, roll number, and registration number
  3. View your re-evaluated result

The rescrutiny portal is separate from the main result portal. Your main result doesn't change there until re-evaluation is complete and officially updated.

Frequently asked questions

Has HSC Result 2026 been published? No - as of 7 September 2026, the main HSC Result 2026 has not been published. This page updates immediately when it is.

How will I know the moment HSC Result 2026 is out? The IEBCC issues a press release 3–10 days before publication. On result day, results go live at both educationboardresults.gov.bd and eboardresults.com simultaneously, historically around 10:00–11:00 am. This page and HSC Result Date 2026 update the moment an announcement is made.

When is HSC result usually published? It varies more than most people expect. Recent cycles: October 2024, October 2025 - but 2020 results were published in December. The IEBCC does not commit to a fixed calendar window. → Full date history and pattern analysis

How long does it take to publish an HSC result after exams? In 2024 and 2025, results came in mid-October, roughly 65–70 days after those cycles' exams ended. For 2026, most boards finished 8 August but Chattogram's disrupted exams ran until 9 September - so this pattern doesn't map as cleanly this cycle, and no date is confirmed yet.

Is the rescrutiny result the same as the main result? No. The main result publishes for all students simultaneously. The rescrutiny (re-evaluation) result is published separately - only for students who applied for a board challenge - about a month later. In 2025, the main result was 16 October and the rescrutiny result was 16 November.

What is "re-evaluated HSC result" - is my main result changing? If you applied for rescrutiny, examiners re-check your original answer scripts, and the re-evaluated result reflects any mark changes found. Your result on the main portal may update after re-evaluation. If you didn't apply for rescrutiny, this doesn't affect you.

When will the HSC rescrutiny result 2026 be published? Not yet known - the main result date itself isn't confirmed. Based on 2025 precedent, expect the rescrutiny result roughly a month after whichever date the main result gets.

What if the result website is down when HSC Result 2026 is published? Switch to the official mirror eboardresults.com, or use SMS to 16222 - it runs on separate infrastructure and is typically less congested. Your institution's office also receives results simultaneously. → What to do if the site is down
