National University Result - Honours, Degree, and Masters (2026 Guide)
National University results for Honours, Degree, and Masters are all published on the same official portal, result.nu.ac.bd, but as separate results per programme and year group - there is no single combined result. Select your programme (Honours, Degree, or Masters), then the correct year and exam session, and check with your roll and registration number. This page does not carry a confirmed 2026 date for any programme because none has been independently verified as of 1 September 2026.
Quick facts
- National University publishes Honours, Degree, and Masters results separately, not as one combined result.
- The only official result destination for all NU programmes is result.nu.ac.bd; SMS results go through the 16222 short code.
- No specific 2026 result date is confirmed in this article for any programme - readers should verify directly with National University.
If you're looking for a National University result and aren't sure where to start, this page is the hub - it explains how NU results work across programmes and links to the dedicated page for your specific one.
Direct answer
All National University results - Honours, Degree, and Masters - are checked at the same official portal, result.nu.ac.bd, but each programme and year group is published as its own separate result, not a single combined release. Select your programme, then the correct year and exam session, and check using your roll and registration number. As of 1 September 2026, this page does not state a confirmed date for any 2026 result because no claim seen in research could be verified against an official source.
Which result are you looking for?
National University runs three main degree programmes, each with its own result cycle:
- Honours Result - 4-year programme, results published year by year (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year)
- Degree Result - 3-year Pass Course programme, results published year by year (1st, 2nd, 3rd year)
- Masters Result - Preliminary and Final tracks, depending on whether you entered after Degree or Honours
If you're not sure which programme applies to you, check your admission documents or ask your college's exam section before searching for a result.
Result checker
Use the official National University result portal directly for any programme - this site does not scrape, mirror, or auto-fetch NU results.
- Web: result.nu.ac.bd - select your programme, then year and exam session
- SMS: send the programme- and year-specific keyword (as stated in that result's official notice) to 16222
Note: Result-day traffic on NU's servers can be heavy. If the site is slow, wait and retry rather than switching to an unfamiliar third-party "result checker" site.
A note on dates
Bangladeshi search results for National University results are dominated by aggregator sites that publish specific dates, pass-rate percentages, and student counts for every programme and year. During research for this page, none of those figures could be traced back to an official National University notice, a working connection to nu.ac.bd, or mainstream news coverage - and different aggregator sites often contradict each other on the same result. Because of that, this page deliberately does not repeat any specific date or number as fact for any programme. Always confirm the current status directly at nu.ac.bd or result.nu.ac.bd.
How to check step by step
- Go to result.nu.ac.bd.
- Select your programme - Honours, Degree, or Masters.
- Select the year group (for Honours/Degree) or track (Preliminary/Final for Masters).
- Choose the correct examination year.
- Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number exactly as printed on your admit card.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and submit.
- Cross-check the name, programme, and year shown against your own records before saving or sharing the result.
Common mistakes when checking any result
- Checking the wrong programme page - Honours, Degree, and Masters results are entered and displayed separately, even though they share the same portal.
- Swapping roll number and registration number in the entry form.
- Selecting the wrong examination year rather than the year you actually sat the exam.
- Relying on a third-party "result checker" site instead of result.nu.ac.bd, which can show cached or incorrect information.
